1. Copyright & Use of Images
Under copyright law, copyright of all images belongs solely to Kasia Soszka Photography. However, the photographer grants the clients sharing & printing release which entitles the clients to unlimited non-commercial use of their chosen high resolution images. Permission must be requested and grated before using images for professional, publication or competition purposes. Images must not be edited by the client – this is an infringement of copyright laws. If you require an alteration please contact Kasia Soszka Photography.
Kasia Soszka Photography retains the right in all cases to use any images for the purposes of displays, advertising, portfolio, publication or promotion of her work, unless the clients expressed otherwise in their contract.
2. Investment
2.1 All prices are subject to change without any notice, but the clients will only pay the price quoted for their chosen session at the time of their booking, even if prices have since increased.
2.2 Session prices established by Kasia Soszka Photography are final. Booking fee is required upon booking to secure chosen time slot. Booking fees are non-refundable but are transferable. The remaining balance for the session is required before the start of the session. Accepted payments include cash, PayPal or bank transfer.
3. Cooling-off period
Unless the client specifies the photoshoot must take place straightaway or as soon as possible, a 14-day cooling off period applies. In this case the date of the session will be scheduled for at least 2 weeks after the date the client arranges it.
4. During the Shoot & Rescheduling
4.1 Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s behaviour and safety on the shoot.
4.2 Should the client wish to reschedule the shoot due to illness it can be done at no extra cost, just please try to inform me in advance.
4.3 For the outdoor sessions, in case of particularly bad weather on the day of the shoot, Kasia Soszka Photography will contact the client and mutually agree a course of action. This may be either rescheduling the shoot or changing the location to Kasia Soszka Photography home studio.
5. Turnaround times
Delivery of all products included or ordered will be delivered to the client in timely matter. Kasia Soszka Photography promises to have finished images from portrait sessions delivered in two weeks or less. All print and wall art orders are expected for delivery up to two weeks from the date ordered.
6. Proof Galleries and Viewing Appointments
Finished images are presented to the client either via private online galleries or at in person viewing and ordering appointments. Clients will be provided with between 15-30 (depening on a chosen package) carefully edited images to choose from. These images must not be copied, screen shot, edited or altered in any way. Doing so is a violation of copyright law. All watermarks will be removed from the clients’ chosen images.
7. Digital Images
Clients will be provided with both high and low resolution versions of their chosen images. High resolution, watermark free images are optimize for printing, and the low resolution watermarked images are design for web use, and only these can be share on social media. Clients cannot purchase RAW files or unedited images.
8. Prints and wall art products
Kasia Soszka Photography only uses selected professional photo labs services to provide the clients with highest quality products that will last for generations. Kasia Soszka Photography cannot take any responsibility for the quality of images self printed by the clients.
9. Refunds and returns policy
9.1 Digital images, prints and wall art are non-refundable. Orders cannot be cancelled due to the custom nature of the products. By placing an order with Kasia Soszka Photography you are committing to buy the ordered products.
9.2 Incorrectly supplied items and items of poor quality can be returned and will be replaced at no extra charge to the Client. Returns will not be considered for incorrectly ordered items or items ordered in error.
10. Data storage and back up
Most data will be kept indefinitely to provide clients with better customer service. Kasia Soszka Photography is required to hold information relating to transactions for up to 7 years for tax purposes. Images are held initially for a least 12 months from ordering for back up purposes, however some images or RAW image data may be kept indefinitely for copyright, portfolio and marketing purposes.
