A maternity session is a chance to pause and celebrate that woman. To step away from the everyday for a few hours, be looked after, dress up, experiment with different looks and create portraits that feel beautifully, unapologetically you.
Every session is shaped around you and your preferences. If you don't feel your most confident right now, that's exactly why this exists. My job is direct you, pose you and make you feel and look your best. Yours is simply to show up.

Styling consultation
A phone call, email or an in‑person visit to my Leeds studio to discuss and choose outfits, plan your looks and talk through the mood you want.

Photoshoot Day
No need to worry about how to pose or what to do with your hands. I will gently guide you every step of the way for the most flattering results. You can relax and enjoy the process.

Viewing & Ordering
Few days after the session you will receive am online gallery for viewing and selecting your favourite images, which would then be fully retouched and edited in my signature fine art style.

Delivering your final products
Depending on the collection you choose, your beautifully retouched images will be delivered via download or on a USB drive. Prints and any other photography products can be collected from the studio, or send via post for clients from outside Leeds area.

Before you book
The questions I'm asked most often.

The best time to schedule your pregnancy session is around 28-34 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment, ideally around your 20-week scan, or anytime during your second trimester.

Pregnancy doesn't always feel magical, and that's completely normal. My job as a professional photographer is to make you feel beautiful, confident and proud of what your body is doing. Proper posing and lighting can make a world of difference too! YOU are the beginning of your baby’s story and this is exactly the time when you should celebrate yourself and the life you are creating.

Yes! I have a growing collection of beautiful maternity gowns and accessories to use during sessions. I really recommend in person pre-session consultation, so you can visit my home studio and try the dresses on. It is also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little bit before the shoot and to discuss what will happen on the day.
Prefer something simpler, or your own outfit? That's welcome too, alongside underwear or implied nude portraits if you'd like them.

Absolutely. A maternity session is a natural moment to capture an updated family portrait too - it's part of your family's story in the making.

You'll get an online proofing gallery within a few days of your session. Once you've chosen your favourites, retouched digital images are ready within two weeks, with prints, albums or wall art following two to three weeks after that.

Overcast days are great for photoshoots but if it’s rains, we will reschedule to next suitable date. Yorkshire weather can be unpredictable, so we simply make the call a day before or on the day - no stress. Alternatively, you can always opt for a studio session instead, if we can’t find a date suitable for both parties.
