When is the best time to have maternity portraits done and when should I book my session?
The best time to schedule your pregnancy session is around 28-36 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
I don’t feel that confident about how I look at the moment, what if I don’t look good on photographs?
Pregnancy is a magical time, even if it doesn’t always feel this way. Your body is transforming to accommodate your growing baby and that change is not easy on everyone, but please rest assured – my job as a professional photographer is to make you feel beautiful, confident and proud of what your body is doing. Pregnancy is the beginning of your baby’s story, YOU are the beginning of their story and this is exactly the time when you should celebrate yourself and the life you are creating. I promise you won’t regret it!
Where will the session take place?
I love the great outdoors and Yorkshire provides some many stunning natural background! Sessions take place in a location of your choice, but I’m more then happy to recommend best seasonal location - I’m always on the lookout for best spots!
What if it rains on the day of the session?
Overcast days are great for photoshoots but if it’s rainy we will reschedule to next suitable date. Weather can be very unpredictable in Yorkshire so we will just call it on the day.
Do you provide the dresses?
Yes! I have an ever growing collection of stunning maternity gowns that will make you feel like a queen! I really recommend in person pre-session consultation, so you can visit my home studio and try the dresses on. It is also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little bit before the shoot and to discuss what will happen on the day.

Can my partner and children join in the session?
Of course! Maternity sessions are a great opportunity to have your updated family portrait done. This is your family history in making, capture it!
When will I receive my images?
After the session, your images will be professionally edited in my signature style and will be ready for viewing within 2 weeks time. They will be presented to you via private online gallery, or we can arrange an in person viewing and ordering appointment instead.
