My name is Kasia and I am a Leeds based portrait & storytelling photographer.

I have always been drawn to stories

Long before I became a photographer, I dreamed of working for National Geographic. I imagined travelling the world, chasing beautiful light and telling stories through my camera. While that never came to fruition, life certainly did take me on an adventure! From growing up in Poland, to living in China, and eventually finding my home in Yorkshire, I got to travel the world and grow my love for photography. And that zest for adventure and love of storytelling never left me.

Today, my greatest adventures happen much closer to home. Instead of distant landscapes, I photograph the extraordinary beauty found in everyday family life: the quiet anticipation of motherhood, the wonder of a newborn's first days, and the joyful chaos of childhood explored outdoors, with beautiful Yorkshire landscapes as a backdrop.

My approach

Every family has its own rhythm, and my photography is created around that.

For newborn and maternity sessions in my Leeds home studio, my approach is calm, gentle and timeless. I create carefully styled portraits while allowing space for genuine connection and emotion.

For outdoor storytelling sessions across Yorkshire and beyond, I embrace movement, nature and the beautiful unpredictability of family life. I want children to explore, couples to connect and families to simply enjoy being together.

Whether in the studio or outdoors, the heart of my work remains the same: creating photographs that feel like a memory. I want your photographs to remind you of more than what you looked like. I want them to bring you back to how you felt.

Beyond photography

When I am not behind the camera, you will usually find me exploring the outdoors, discovering new places, or enjoying slow family moments away from the noise of everyday life.

I have always been inspired by landscapes, light and the stories held within a place; which is why nature plays such an important role in my outdoor work.

Yorkshire has become a beautiful chapter in my own story, and I feel lucky to photograph families within its landscapes.
